Saracens pick Horizm to drive digital revenues


Saracens have signed a deal with digital asset management experts, Horizm that will enable the English Rugby Union club to maximise the value they deliver their partners, across their different social channels and help them unlock new digital revenues. 

The new agreement sees Saracens become the first rugby club to sign with Horizm, joining over 50 leading rights holders across seven other sports who have selected Horizm as a digital partner, including Real Madrid in football, Delhi Capitals in cricket and the Australian Open in tennis.

Like all sports, COVID 19 has had a big impact on the finances of rugby in England, with vital match day revenue streams cut off. In these challenging times, Saracens have been able to secure multi-year sponsorships with StoneX Group and Shawbrook bank –  a clear indicator of the clubs enduring value and bright commercial future  – and digital will play a key role in how these partnerships are delivered.

The three-time European Champions will use Horizm’s AI-powered platform to gain a real-time understanding of the digital value they can offer their stable of partners, but also to target further sponsorships by identifying new revenue opportunities, within their digital inventory.
