Vanarama National League

Category: Football
The Vanarama National League is the body responsible for the 5th , 6th and 7th tiers of English football. Comprised of three divisions – The Vanarama League, The Vanarama League North and The Vanarama League South – the league is an important part of the UK football pyramid and through its member clubs it provides a mix of heritage, success and celebrity. From Notts County, the oldest league club, to Wrexham AFC and their Hollywood owners, Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney, the 66 clubs each have a unique story to tell and a fanbase that is loyal, highly engaged and rooted in their local communities. Collectively on social media (as of December 2021), this equates to over 3m followers.
“Our clubs have deep-seated ties to communities covering the length and breadth of the country and the current visibility being afforded to the whole league means there is huge potential for their fanbases to grow. The league has long recognised the importance of digital in engaging these different fanbases – the audience of our top division has grown 30% since 2019 – and this new collaboration with Horizm will give us the tools to maximise the commercial potential of our digital growth.”
