Barnsley FC is a professional football club based in Barnsley, South Yorkshire. The Club is a member of the English Football League (EFL), currently operating within the Sky Bet Championship. Founded by Reverend Tiverton Preedy in 1887, ‘the Reds’ have played their home fixtures at Oakwell since 1888.
