The Job

Imagine working closely with many of the world’s largest sports rights holders, athletes and agencies to help them better understand the way they market and commercialize their digital assets. Horizm is the first pricing and inventory management tool trusted by top entities from Chelsea, Borussia Dortmund, Real Madrid to The Australian Open, helping them maximize their commercial digital inventory.

This role offers the possibility of owning all marketing efforts for a fast-growing technology company.


As a Marketing Director, you will have the ownership for all marketing efforts. From brand awareness to lead generation, website development, content curation/creation, sales collateral development and product launches. 

Key responsibilities of the role include planning and executing marketing and communications initiatives in consultation with the leadership team and in alignment with Horizm business objectives, in order to cement Horizm´s  position in the market as an industry reference.

  • Online and offline marketing: hands-on experience with digital media.
  • Experience working with a sales team in both Sales Enablement and Account-Based Approach.
  • Knowledge of Demand Generation tactics and Lead Conversion principles.
  • Ability to create value propositions that communicate clearly to targeted audiences.
  • Extensive experience creating audience segments and developing marketing campaigns that deliver a targeted message and create affinity with brands.
  • Support in the creation of sales collateral and support sales materials.
  • Work with Sales teams to develop marketing initiatives.
  • Develop messaging and go-to-market materials to support relevant products such as white papers and sales presentations
  • Prepare relevant and strategic industry insights and  benchmark on a regular basis.
  • Lead generation
Public Relations
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key media contacts to ensure regular and on-going exposure in target business and trade press in different markets.
  • Manage and coordinate responses to inbound media inquiries, working with local spokespeople and analysts on ad hoc opportunities arising through journalist inquiries and requests for data and/or expert commentary on topical issues.
  • Work with the leadership team to prepare key announcements and communications on a monthly basis and as needed. 
Content Management
  • Design content marketing strategies and set short-term goals..
  • Identify opportunities for local content generation, and work alongside subject matter experts to develop local thought leadership pieces.
  • Co-create insight articles and opinion pieces to establish leadership in the research industry.
  • Manage Horizm´s digital assets, including Ensure content is regularly refreshed, and work in collaboration with the sales team on corporate-level site requirements.
Events (on-line and off-line)
  • Identify industry events aligned and targeted to Horizm´s  client base and develop an annual events calendar.
  • Work with the leadership team to identify presenters and topics for targeted industry events which demonstrate strengths and capabilities.
  • Experience building marketing strategy, brand and product marketing content.
  • Experience in the tech-software industry developing brands, launching products, managing digital marketing campaigns (including performance marketing) and executing large-scale events.
  • Ability to effectively operate in a fast-paced environment, and work on multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic and constantly evolving context.
  • Ability to think strategically about complex issues, leading to thoughtful recommendations, action plans, and campaigns.
  • Creative and innovative, with the ability to communicate cross-functionally within a team.
  • Excellent project management, attention to detail, and written/verbal communication skills.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience, preferably with a Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations or Marketing.
  • Fluent in English is a must, other languages are a plus
