QA Specialist

Europe (Open, but preferently London, Alicante, Madrid, Barcelona, Lisbon)

The QA specialist is responsible for verifying software quality by creating and executing plans. Horizm platform should be tested in terms of functionality, browser compatibility, performance, reliability, stability and compatibility with the up and downstream system with which it integrates. QA will make sure that testing is well defined (manual vs automated), planned and executed, helping the Business team to gather requisites and define Acceptance Criteria, and helping the development team to ensure that the User Stories are clear and up to date in the management system.

The QA specialist will communicate test status with the Product Owner and will work closely with software developers to ensure that the features of the software solution are tested and that defects are corrected before the product goes Live.

Responsibilities:
  • Create quality measurements to track improvement in products
  • Execute quality improvement testing and activities
  • Develop quality assurance standards and company processes
  • Adhere to industry quality and security  standards
  • Ensure products meet customer expectations and demand
  • Create reports documenting errors and issues for fixing
  • Work closely with the development team and account managers to improve existing products
  • Maintain standards for reliability and performance of production
Requirements:
  • Working knowledge of products and services
  • In-depth understanding of industry standards and company policies
  • Good customer focus
  • Sharp attention to detail
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Meticulous and diligent attributes
  • Great team player with the ability to work independently
  • Fluent in English (additional languages is welcome)
  • Desirable knowledge of basic usage of MySQL queries
