Founded in 2019, Horizm was born with the goal to be the number one digital asset platform for the global sports and entertainment industries; to revolutionize the way clubs operate in our new digital era, and fully support them in taking full advantage of the existing opportunities.

Need for a new approach

We observed that $333.25 Billion was spent in 2019 on digital media, with a further $43 Billion forecasted to be spent on social media advertising alone in 2020. With 60% of global advertising spend being digital, only 9% of sponsorship value is currently delivered by digital channels, meaning there is a huge opportunity for sport to take advantage of. When we looked at the market, we saw that the majority of tools available were merely offering an extension of the TV model of analysis; one based on theoretical media value from logo placement with unclear pricing and performance measurements in place.

An explorer by nature and former professional athlete, Pedro has twenty years’ experience working with both start-up and multinationals where he honed his expertise on business development and product innovation.

After studying Computer System Analysis with focus on A.I., he has gone on to work for or advise the likes of Pfizer, Hitachi, Letgo.com, FC Barcelona and FIVB.

Restless mind in the business of sport and entertainment, with more than 15 years of experience. Passionate about innovation and driven to build new and disruptive digital products to change the industry.

Has managed, worked for and/or advised the likes of NBA, Real Madrid, FC Barcelona, Juventus, Moto GP, Baseball Players, NFL and FIVB among others.

Sam Grimley

Head of Commercial

An experienced commercial leader, with a keen passion for enabling likeminded individuals and organizations to better understand digital media for commercial gain. Sam’s career started brand side, in digital marketing at HSBC before moving to work in computer vision, online viral publishing, rights holder sales and most recently leading a sponsorship valuation business.

With more than 15 years of consulting experience, originally from a traditional consulting background in companies like Boston Consulting Group and Deloitte, Luis comes from Nielsen Sports where he led the Consulting and Research practice in the Americas based out of New York.

Luis is an experienced strategist, keen on helping clients get the maximum return on their investment.

With an MBA from Stanford and a CFA designation, Irina enjoys combining her operational and investment skills to advise and mentor clients, as well as build her own portfolio.

Ricardo Fort


A marketer and an expert in the world of sports, Ricardo built his 25 years career working in leadership positions for some of the best companies in the world, like Coca-Cola and Visa. In 2021, he launched his own consulting firm - Sport by Fort Consulting - to help sports tech, sponsors, leagues, investors and athletes successfully invest in sports





Craig Thompson
Craig Thompson


Craig has been intimately involved in the creation and management of some of the most recognized global sporting events, serving as CEO of 34th America’s Cup and as managing Director of T.E.A.M. Marketing AG, where he co-created and developed the UEFA Champion’s League. Craig is currently Managing Partner of sports industry investment, Mindspring Capital.
